Reflecting on 2007 and welcoming in 2008

Happy New Year! I hope you have a very happy, healthy, and fulfilling year!

Life has a way of handing us opportunities to reflect on the path we've walked. For me the last week of December seems a natural time for visiting the past. As I find myself entering 2008, of course I'm thinking about time, again. Maybe it's all the stuff that wasn't accomplished this year that I felt should have been or maybe it's all the stuff that was accomplished. Maybe it's reflecting on the opportunities for fun I've missed or the opportunities I've taken. It can be seeing someone else making a choice that makes you think about something. For instance, last Friday evening was a gathering with class mates. We went out for light dinner and then dancing. When I arrived for drinks, one of my buddies offered his chair and mentioned it was near the food. I politely thanked him and declined...actually, all I drank there was water with lemon. Later, I'm certain he doesn't even realize I noticed what he did, but he demonstrated what we all need to do. He picked up a nacho, took a moment as he looked at it, and thought about it before he ate it. Wow! In the short time he demonstrated that little action, he showed that he was thinking about what he was putting into his mouth and body, he took his time, didn't deny himself, and he had only one. I don't think he reads my little blog, but if he does, he reiterated home another little lesson for life, to stop and think about what you feed yourself and moderation!

I chose losing weight as my main goal last year which probably is the goal most selected by people in the U.S. But, for me, it was a first in over 20 years. To know me, you would know I am a very obese person. So in January 2007 when I joined Weight Watcher's at Work, I had realistic goals that I really didn't think I would stick to. Some of my coworkers are my strongest supportive health friends and yes, believing that ice cream should be a daily staple, I contemplated this opportunity. I sent an e-mail off to some of my closest co-workers and friends -- lets face it, they really are the people we spend the most chunks of time with. I had asked them that if I decided to participate in WW and decided to have a bit of ice cream with lunch would they give me the 'hairy eyeball' or trust that I figured it into my points. The best message I could have received came to me from my friend Dirrindia -- her response was, "you only have to answer to yourself, don't worry about what anyone else thinks". This brought the realization that learning to eat healthy isn't a diet that you do for a while and then forget, but it is a life style change. I'll repeat, it is a life style change. As my weigh-ins typically take place on Mondays, it was this Monday that I finally moved into another set of numbers and reached 30.1 pounds! To me that doesn't seem like much for 12 months of healthy eating (okay 99% of the time), but with thyroid issues, my physician assures me that losing any weight will be a job well done, three times as slow, and highly recommended WW. So, here I am 2008, and I'm 30 pounds lighter and 1-1/4 of them this week after Christmas! Realistically, I have so much more to lose! But, I will continue on with my healthy eating habits, stretching, bike riding, and occasional Yoga classes. I also learned that I am not an 'emotional' eater, but more or less just made the wrong choices and have learned more about moderation.

I had told my friends that I would never be inclined to post a picture of myself on my blog because I can't stand the way I look in pictures (never could -- teeth, weight, curl of my lip). Well, I decided that maybe I would change this opinion I've carried for at least 35 years...partly because someone sent me a half-decent and very recent picture that I was in (minus a blemish or two) and partly because I have been placing some focus on taking care of myself, not just with diet and the exercise, but with enjoying activities that I have put off for too long. I did start tubing again the last several years and although the Rogue River is a far cry from rafting down the rapids of the Upper Gulley, Lower Gulley, Cheat, or the New rivers in West Virginia, I will appreciate what the Rogue has to offer. I would love to learn how to Kayak...maybe this year yet if I can find someone to teach me.
As I mentioned activities from last Friday evening, the ride into town was treacherous with a winter storm warning (my knuckle's were white) and the ride home was mild. I didn't dance as much as I would have liked or did last time. There were so many people just standing around on the dance floor and the place was probably a bit over-crowded...okay, it was my hips and elbows, I don't know how many people I bumped into. I'm sending a big thank you to Tami, Wendy, Lisa & Chris, Andy, Becky, and Al, whether you happen to read this or not! Again another fun memory was made!

Saturday was our 12th wedding anniversary. We spent the evening home with a quiet dinner. Happy Anniversary Phil!

Sunday it was during errands and chores that I realized I kept thinking I was 42 (no I'm really 43)! I think I did that when I turned 40 too, I kept thinking I was 41. Ah well, I never claimed to enjoy numbers. So, here I am -- me, my computer, a few of my cats, pondering what the next 12 months will bring. Whatever it is, I hope it includes more weight loss, tubing, dancing, fun, laughter, and just some simple joys.

Another sign I'm receiving, big, strong, and in my face is little Jazmine trying to get my attention. Figure I've pondered enough for now, so, off I go. I mean, how could anyone deny that little face?

Have a blessed New Year!

Poor Phil...

For some strange reason he thought the roof had a problem...do you think it was the bowl of snow that landed on him in the shower? =)

The first snow fight...

There was a squeak that sounded like the door opening...upon further inspection, I noticed the inside door open, the storm door closed, and peaked outside to see Phillip coming up the steps with a box full of snow in his bare feet (!!!!), shorts (!!!), and a tee shirt (!!!). Too bad for him I heard the door squeak! I locked him out for about a minute and a half before he finally dropped the box of snow. He thought he was being so clever...

Well, needless to say, when he announced he was ready to fight, I already had 3 layers of clothes on, added my boots, hat, coat, his mittens (mine are in the car or not handy) and proceeded to win the battle. He made it out the door before I did, so I got much of the snow that was in the box thrown on me, but was able to thoroughly douse him with the rest AND I managed to confiscate the box as well. Down the steps we went...

He tried to stay on the cleared path...I went right into the yard and battle we did. We both got it, but he verbally announced me the winner of this fight. =) Mark one win for me, zero for Phil. The battle is not over yet...

I find myself yearning for a good snowball fight and toboggan ride! I bet I probably wouldn't walk after one trip down a big hill, but the fun of it would almost be worth it.

White Christmas...

I'm dreaming of a whiiiitttteeeeeee.....Christmaaassss...

Merry WHITE Christmas!!! This is our deck this morning and the door. We had at least a foot of snow! Yee ha!

So, I sent out these pictures and the following message to a couple friends:

Merry Christmas! This is what I opened my door up to (see attached pictures). We've had over a foot of snow!
My first thought was, 'YES, a WHITE CHRISTMAS!'...my second thought was, 'I will finally have enough to put Phil down in a snow bank!' (I need to add a note here just in case you start to feel sorry for him -- the other day I was quietly sitting in my sewing room at the computer and he showed up with a BOWL of snow and dumped it on my head!) Yes, he does have it coming! Then my third thought was 'SNOW BALL FIGHT!’ Just wait...I do have to work part of the day, but thinking I need to explore all of the above options.
Sending you wishes for a happy and white Christmas!

Phillip has already laid threats to me, especially after he read the message I sent out. I generally use a blind copy so not every one's e-mail addresses are exposed to others, but his threat included trying to figure out who received that e-mail and taking pictures of me after he puts me into a snow bank and sending them out to the group...and so...the battle is beginning!

He has blown the snow, cleaned the senior neighbors driveway, and also the lady next door's driveway. I finally met her this morning. She mentioned that her husband is in a vegetative state and is finally coming home today, she will be his caregiver. She has three kids, three cats and her hands are full. I think if anyone can send a little prayer their way, this family sure can use it.

Kimberly -- I was her secret stocking santa...

Being a secret santa is just as much fun as receiving gifts from a secret santa. I was fortunate to be Kimberly's secret stocking santa! It is so much fun to have someone you know and can pick gifts that will be enjoyed. Kimberly is an incredibly talented quilter, mother, and kind person who admitted to checking my blog occasionally to see if I was dropping any hints who I had. I told her I was wise to that little trick. =) My biggest fear was that some kitty hair would get caught in a piece of tape or on her stocking as one, she is allergic to cat's and two would give me away. She never noticed any, thank goodness!!!

How fortunate to live in a time and place the spirit of Christmas is part of our daily lives!

Secret Santa Stocking Swap...

Today was the day I was able to open my package from my Secret Santa for our Secret Santa Stocking Swap. =)

Let me tell you, I am like a little kid when it comes to giving or receiving gifts...I just can't wait! So, I received some wonderful gifts from Karen who is part of the online quilt group I belong to.

Here is a picture of the gifts I received. They include a quilt journal, calendar, candle holders and unscented tea lights, knit stocking, socks, FABRIC!, magazine, pattern, buttons, another candle holder, notes, cards, magnet...

Busy, busy, busy...

Wow, like everyone else, I have been so busy lately! Deadlines with some priorities at work have been a major focus, trying to get my Christmas gifts done, Christmas cards need to be in the mail by tomorrow, I have a couple packages that are overdue hitting the postal station. Plus, I'd like to finish up an old snowman throw for a family that moved in next door.

I'm so excited, it finally snowed! A lot! I love it...all 6+inches! I figure living in Michigan, if you don't like it then leave. Just don't complain about it. People will start too, they will complain about it from this next week until February when it starts to dwindle. I'd rather have all the beauty and seasons that Michigan offers and can't imagine what it would be like without it. Winter here without the snow is just dark and gray, the snow blankets the earth and trees and accentuates the beauty of nature that may otherwise go unnoticed. I'd love to go for a walk on the nature trail, but time won't allow this time. Last weekend we went to a farm to get a Christmas tree. I had been using an imitation tree since we moved here, but decided it was time to enjoy the real thing again. It is a perfect Fraser Fir. I attempted to take a photo, but will try again later when it is evening. The critters keep trying to get at the tree water, but we have a wood cover we rigged up. Unfortunately they are pretty ingenious creatures and keep managing to pry the lid open. I can tell when they are poking around under the tree because some of the safe ornaments down low are bells, and you know what they say..."every time a bell rings, a kitty's under the Christmas tree" oh wait, that's just at our house. I think it's "an angel gets her wings". =)

Phil just came in from snow-blowing and the wind is starting to kick up. He generously also maintains our elderly neighbor's driveway when it snows, but, he made me proud when he also blew out the driveway of the lady next door. From what I understand, the husband has been severely injured in an accident of some kind, there is a community program that just installed a ramp for his wheelchair. There are several children in their household. Times are hard on all of us, but they really appear to be hard on them. Granted her children could probably shovel, but some of the best gifts are in the act of doing. I noticed one of her teen-aged kids walking down the road yesterday with just a sweatshirt jacket and sneakers. Part of this may be the child's obstinate, but part of it may be a need. I know there are programs that would help out with coats and boots, but not sure how to 'go there' without coming across the wrong way to someone I've never met.

I have Jazzy trying to get my attention so I will rub her belly, drink some coffee, and I need to post pictures of the rest of my Christmas Ornaments I received from the exchange, then I need to get my butt in gear.

I hope everyone is enjoying the beauty of the season, wherever you are.

Weirdo blog things...

What is with that blog thing? My 'Complete Profile' keeps saying I am an ACCOUNTANT! I have selected NOT SPECIFIED several times for that field and every time I look it says I'm an ACCOUNTANT. As I've not excelled at numbers, I find this a bit humorous. Strangely, Healthcare is not an option, so I keep selecting NOT SPECIFIED.

I wonder what if it was that easy to have a new occupation? I could try out being an accountant one week, business manager another week, lawyer, educator...whatever strikes my mood. Or, I could just be me.

The other thing I find irritating is that if I format my paragraph a certain way, I like how it looks, when I save it it does all kinds of things...like add lines, remove lines, change the alignment...stupid thing! I have looked at all the settings and have decided, it's just quirky. =)

Christmas Ornament Swap - the end result

Back in August I signed up for a Christmas ornament swap with some fellow quilters. Something kept needling my thoughts that "didn’t I hear something about a Christmas spider once?" It wouldn’t leave, so I headed off to the internet in search of the Christmas Spider.

At last, the legend was found, but I could not find a single project worthy enough to demonstrate the Christmas spider. So...I made my own. First I started to make felted spiders, but found that too painful on the fingers after a couple of good jabs, so having only one yo-yo maker, I finally came up with a yo-yo spider. The legend is old, and from what I have learned it is German. The ornament is all original and was the result of listening to that little voice that kept needling me to find the Christmas Spider. I wish I could recall the site I obtained the spider web embroidery so I could give credit, but, nevertheless, I hope the recipients will all enjoy this little guy.

The legend of the Christmas Spider

A long time ago, a mother prepared for Christmas Eve. She cleaned and scrubbed her home, chasing the spiders from the living room with her broom. The spiders fled to the attic and listened to the excitement below as the Christmas tree was put up and decorated. When all was quiet again, the little spiders crept back downstairs to see the beautiful tree. They were filled with happiness as they crawled along every branch, admiring the glittering beauty of each ornament. But alas, by the time they had finished climbing through the tree, it was completely draped with their dusty, gray cobwebs. When the Christ child came, He smiled as He looked upon the happy little spiders; however, He knew the mother would be heartbroken when she saw the shrouded tree. So He reached out and touched the webs and, blessing them, turned them into silver and gold. Now the Christmas tree sparkled and shimmered and was even more beautiful than before. Thus the custom to have tinsel of silver and gold and a spider ornament amongst the other decorations on the Christmas tree was born.

Class Reunion a brief recap...

I planned to update my blog a while ago, but with recent critter events and busy work life, I have been pretty busy lately. Finally, I have a moment and want to just say I am always amazed at these most endearing friends and classmates. Wow! Another reunion has come and gone and I find myself thinking about time again.

Our reunion events went like this:
  • Friday night - the last FHC home football game (we were soaking wet with the rain, but the Rangers won of course) and since we were drenched and frozen, we hit the local grill for socializing, followed by drinks at a local bar. Phil and I skipped the bar.
  • Saturday brunch - a pig roast from a local chef at the Cascade Township Park. This was a chance for folks with children to allow their families to be a part of the activities. Another success!
  • Saturday evening - what can I say? The laughter, hugs, tears, music, food, pictures, shot luge ice sculpture (my class still likes to party, though I usually pass out on anything more than one drink, so O'Doul's was my friend) the energy was incredible! I had decided to donate the St. Paddy's Day Mystery Quilt from Quiltaholics...the author named it Motion. The quilt was won by one of my classmates whom I've known since elementary school. A very kind hearted person Marc VW. Let me just say there are pictures 'out there' of me wrapped (I mean trapped) in the quilt w/Marc being forced to dance. Ugh! How embarrassing! Anyway, it was all in good fun!
  • Sunday morning - brunch was perfect! Held at a little restaurant in Ada that opened its doors just for us.
  • Sunday afternoon golf - I don't golf, but I saw pictures of the course. The fall leaves were stunning!

I suspect that I'm not the only one that appreciates these gatherings of old FHC Rangers, class of 1982! So here it is, the day before Thanksgiving and this Friday night is another gathering to listen to our favorite band Trilogy! Yeah! It has been suggested that we have an unofficial 27-1/2 year cruise! Count me in! Even Phil is thinking he could have fun! We need to start saving our change now.

I will always believe that our class is special and blessed. If I were asked to describe them in one word, I would have to say they are 'beautiful' people. Why? Because they just are. Every one of them has a personality that just shines. It doesn't matter if you have the most or the least, have had hard times or easy, fat or thin, short or tall, kids or none, or are married or not. What matters, quite simply is that we are all part of each other. We have all touched one another's lives and as we have grown and matured we recognize a certain kinship.

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, I find myself counting in my blessings, this big bunch of beautiful people that I am thankful for. I also wish happiness, peace, and love for all of my family and friends...those with us and not.

Eliana...

I just wanted to take a moment to share that we had to put sweet Eliana down yesterday afternoon. She was an Applehead Lynx Point Siamese and was most definitely the matriarch of our little household.

A month ago we had to take Eliana to the Animal Emergency Hospital, then a few days later we had to put our senior dog Molly to sleep. After Eliana was doing fairly well and I will maintain she still got excited to eat, enjoyed being groomed, was fastidious about her appearance, and still jumped, ran, and occasionally would even play. I am sad to report that about 1:00 pm yesterday afternoon Eliana had a seizure, then about 2:00 pm had another and didn't stop seizing until we got her to the vet and she had to put her down. The vet suspected she may have had a brain tumor. She was nearly 18 years old, 15 of them I was blessed to have her in my life.
The logical part of me recognizes that having a pet includes the gift of letting them go, but the emotional part of me is saying she was my last original cat (meaning before Phil entered my life), and I just wasn't ready to say goodbye. I knew her time was nearing the end, but wasn't prepared for the trauma of these seizures. I had prayed that she would go in her sleep. The vet said she was scared and confused at not being able to control her body's movements. But, I actually believe that it was just that, her body was experiencing that, but her spirit wasn't suffering and was somehow already beginning her journey. My beliefs are that we do meet up again and I found this poem that is kind of soothing to me.

Poem For Cats

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled

For you see, they need me, quite certainly.
But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined.

For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

Signs -- I had a very hard time getting out the door yesterday morning. My hair dryer plug was pinched and I couldn't straighten it out easily, then my hair didn't work and I needed to rewash it and start all over, and I even said to my co-worker, I just don't understand why I had a hard time getting out the door. Well, now I know and maybe should have listened or recognized the signs. I wouldn't have had to travel and had I been here, we could have been able to get her to the vet more rapidly. That is my only regret, that she did suffer some and was scared as she had those seizures.

The Gang -- So, the evening and day today is spent w/the four footed gang glued to my side. First they searched for Eliana, but then I think they tried to comfort Phil and I as we try to comfort them.

Time to celebrate my classmates - reunion plans

My 25th high school reunion is finally here! I am looking forward to seeing all of my old classmates and the weekend promises to be a happy one. There are so many activities planned and they will be full of friendship, warmth, and energy!

Tonight, we have the last high school football game with after game activities at a local grill, tomorrow afternoon a pig roast at a local park, tomorrow evening the main event at a local country club with all of the trimmings - food, live music (they even have the same band we used to have in HS), activities, photos, the energy will be incredible. The most amazing thing is that really, nobody ever looks much different. It's a pretty timeless event. Sure, there may be a bit less hair on top for the men, and the girls may be a bit more fluffy (I'm way fluffy, but working on it w/the help of weight watcher's), but I don't really see my old classmates with my eyes...I don't think any of us care what someone is wearing or not, has or doesn't, but mostly we care that they are happy. Our class includes folks from all walks of life and at some time or another, our paths have crossed. It's true we don't always keep in touch and we aren't all 'friends' that hang around each other though some folks do, but everyone is truly welcome.

People are shocked when I describe the plans for the reunion weekend and then continue to explain we usually have large events. Many folks haven't even attended a single one of their own class reunions, or just one or two. I wouldn't miss one of our reunions, and it will be a bit easier to keep in touch as we have our own class web site now.

The quilt is the first of many that I plan to make for our reunions. It's far from perfect, but I really didn't want it to be perfect. It's not meant to be perfect, though it is pretty darned good! The author of the pattern named it 'Motion'. This to me represents the epitome of who we are, we are moving throughout our lives and then every once in a while we reconnect and then move on.

I hope to update my little blog more on the activities later this weekend...

Farewell Molly...

It was July 1996 when we brought that little 4 month old puppy home. She chose us when she laid her head on my foot at the animal shelter and sighed. She was a very intelligent dog and demonstrated this throughout her years.

Molly was a Canardly...you can hardly tell what kind of dog she was. Though, we suspected a bit of site hound as she loved the laser.

We shared a lot of memories with Molly. I remember when she decided she didn't like pig ears anymore...one got stuck in her mouth. Oh, she could clean house on those long lasting chewies in about 30 minutes, she loved her people and to be near us and loved going to the ice cream stand in Rockford for doggie ice cream (they put dog biscuits in the cup)...she was also a beggar. If I had something she wanted, she would look at me and I would give her 'the look' and she'd put her head back down. Don't get me wrong, I'd share with her, but it was our little game...a few minutes later she'd be back staring at me.

She was mischievous...the day she taught my sister Yvonne's whippets to jump the baby gate was hilarious, she flipped over in the air for Yvonne for a treat, she would sit there with a look of 'what do I do' when the cats would adore her by rubbing their faces against hers...she was very patient and kind. Well usually, except when guests would come over if she didn't get immediate and heavy attention she would seek the nearest kitty toy and eat it.

She was playful...we'd play 'catch your tongue' or 'keep-away' and she loved her tennis balls or stuffed animals, especially the animals that made sound.

Today we had to say goodbye to Molly, as her body rapidly failed her sharp mind. Her passing was peaceful. Our hearts are filled with an ache earned by years of devotion, love, and companionship. If you are reading this we just hope you will send a warm thought or prayer for Molly and for us to ease our hearts during this difficult time.

Goodbye Molly, we love you, we'll miss you.

Meltage...the joy of sunshine!

Here's what happened after the air-conditioner was removed -- Jazzy (you can't really see her, but she was down in the window), Phoebe, and Tyler all melted.

Feast or Famine...

I'm in one of those stretches at work...you know the kind, feast or famine! I have so many projects at work that my weekend will be split between working, some chores, and I'd love to get some sewing in...but first, I thought I'd spend a moment in my little corner.

I have lots of sewing projects to do as well, some will take creativity on my part such as the Halloween blocks I need to make for a swap (due this month) and Christmas Ornament Swap (this the idea won't leave my brain, so I hope it works as it is original...) and I really need to finish up the donation quilt for my class reunion fund raiser. The problem I have is that the quilt I decided to donate is one that another quilty friend said I was hugely undervaluing. I can't say a quilt I made is worth what she says it's valued at, but it is significantly higher in value than what I thought. So, I'm now thinking about another quilt top I made this year (The St. Paddy's Day Mystery Quilt). Also an intense endeavor with many pieces and parts. Here are some pictures, I ask you please ignore the wrinkles as they are both in UFO state (unfinished objects). I apologize for the lack of quality in the pictures. I already had a picture of the St. Paddy's Day Mystery quilt and I just took pictures (or tried) of the tan/green/purple quilt -- I had some helpers.
Phoebe was underneath and Tyler was on top...you can see him inspecting.
In the tan/green/purple quilt, the purple looks navy in the pictures, but is actually purple. Anyway, I will probably send the St. Paddy's Day Mystery Quilt -- it was still very intense work of art, the dark color is not black but is a dark green, but not as much $ invested into it. What is your opinion? Which one do you think I should hang onto and which one do you think I should donate?

Phil just came by and took out the window air-conditioner...a sure sign of fall. The light is just pouring into the sewing room. The air-conditioner is no taller than 1 foot, I wonder how could it suck up so much light? I am anxiously awaiting the reinstallation of the screen and getting the fresh air, but alas, I've been told "we are taking a break". Tyler is acting like a wild man he's running and jumping and 'talking' -- typical with the anticipation of another window to fight the girls over. Well, I better get started with the weekend.

Pay It Forward

I decided to join in on the Pay It Forward exchange. I signed up at my friend Kimberly's blog: http://kcamouquilts.blogspot.com/

Here's how it works: I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join in this the PIF exchange. I will put my best talents into making each gift and within a year's time (365 days, but maybe sooner) I will send you a handmade gift. In exchange. All you have to do is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog and doing the same. It is that simple, you just pay it forward to three more people. I hope you are inspired to join me in this Pay It Forward exchange. Now, I need to figure out what gifts to make. I'm sure there will be fabric involved! :)

Time and Labor Day Weekend...already!

Hi there --

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of cyberland. I'm sitting here trying to type with Tyler snuggling on my lap. Phoebe and Sadie Mae are hanging out and are sleeping next to me in the sunshine, I love to watch kitties sleep. I wish my body could twist and turn the way a cat can...maybe I need another Yoga class.

I remember when a summer would take forever to get through. We'd spend hours working in the garden, playing outside, reading, building forts, swimming at Campau Lake, now it seems I can't keep up with the seasons! Wasn't it March just last week? Here it is, Labor Day weekend already! Seems the older I get, the faster time goes, I suppose it's that way for everyone, but do you remember the days when we would get bored trying to find something to do? I am up to my ears in projects that must get completed and not enough cooperation from Father Time to do them all.

I've been thinking about time lately. My 25th high school class reunion is next month, and as usual, it will be an affair to remember! Sadly, we've lost many classmates and way too soon. Each loss was felt by the whole class, which I believe kind of kept us all a bit more tender to each other. So whether we were all friends or not, we have all at some time or another touched each other’s lives. Celebrate we do, we simply celebrate getting together again. Not one of those 'one night' events either. Nope, we do it throughout a whole weekend and do it well! Read more about this later.

Meanwhile, I hope you will check back. I will be posting about the Pay it Forward project.
